Oscar Bustamante
Oscar Bustamante is from Perú, and he lives in Staten Island, NY. He did his student teaching course remotely here at Urban Assembly School for Leadership and Empowerment in 2021, and after that, he received his bachelor’s degree in Adolescence Education Spanish 9-12 at the College of Staten Island. He got his master’s in education/Spanish High School in June 2025. He has been teaching Spanish to 10th and 11th graders at UASLE since he got his bachelor’s degree. Oscar loves Hispanic culture, which is very rich and diverse. His favorite food is cebiche, an exquisite Peruvian fish dish. His favorite hobbies are reading, traveling, and taking pictures. He really enjoys by being a teacher and by being together with his students who are wonderful and the staff as well.
