Core Values

At UASLE, we are committed to four CORE values: Inclusion, Integrity, Advocacy, and Empathy. These values allow us to remain focused on the goal of college success.  We believe that these values support students' academic growth, as well as our social commitment to justice and truth. 

School Core Values

Inclusion:

  • Working together to create a community where all members feel valued, respected, and supported in order to reach their full potential.

 

Integrity:

  • Upholding and acting with honesty, fairness and respect both as individuals and as a collective school community.

Advocacy:

  • Acting and speaking up for yourself and others to ensure that all voices are heard and all perspectives are valued in our school community and beyond.

Empathy:

  • Actively working to develop a better understanding of the experiences and feelings of others in order to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
